A Decomposed Granite Material
Central California quarry shipping bulk throughout California and in supersacks where requested.
This is an outstanding decomposed granite material with a unique color and texture for decomposed granite. The very high quartz content and contrasting colors of white, silver and grey quartz pebbles and fines in this material make it a superior ground cover material for landscapes with grey or silver grey color tones are wanted.
Due to its superior characteristics we also use this material for our Silver Bocce Ball Court Blends, for both the Dry Climate and Wet Climate mixtures. Even by itself it makes a great less expensive alternative to crush oyster shell mixes for Bocce Ball and Petangue court surfaces.

This product and similar materials are best used at the rates of:
1 Ton per 90 square feet in a 3 inch deep layer.
1 Cubic Yard per 110 square feet in a 3 inch deep layer.

The square foot coverage per ton of gravel will vary slightly with the surface and designs of the project, waste etc. will affect area coverage. The information is based on average ton and cubic yard amounts. This decorative building stone has naturally occurring colors and shade variations. These are what gives this stone the natural beauty and uniqueness that causes its appeal. Color tones change can sometimes occur with aging or maintenance practices of the location it is installed at therefore exact matching of existing stone may not always occur. During processing or transportation dust will adhere to the rocks and change its appearance on arrival but we guarantee all stone to be true to the specific brand name, type and size ordered or complete exchange including transportation costs will be made.

After installation is completed the rock should be rinsed off to show the natural beauty and character.
