Regional quarries shipping bulk throughout our service areas or in SuperEarth-sacks anywhere requested. This decomposed granite is a coarse quartz rich material that facilitates excellent drainage of the bocce ball court.
Step 1

The first step ( unless your location will have severe drainage issues) is to install a bed of Class II Permeable Road Base at a rate of 3 to 6 inches deep

Step 2

This decomposed granite material is installed over a bed of Class II Permeable Road Base at a rate of 2 to 3 inches deep.
Step 3
The next step is to install the bocce ball court surface either of Bocce Ball Court Oyster Shell & Decomposed Granite Blend or pure 1/4" minus red, gold or silver decomposed granite is applied over this coarse decomposed granite at rate of 1-1/2 to 3 inches deep.

This is a true premium quality decomposed granite material not a crushed rock fines material and that is why it may appear more expensive than "rock dirt" sold locally at other stone and landscape supply yards.

This product and similar materials are best used at the rates of:
1 Ton per 90 square feet in a 3 inch deep layer.
1 Cu. Yard per 115 square feet in a 3 inch deep layer.

The square foot coverage per ton of gravel will vary slightly with the surface and designs of the project, waste, etc. will affect area coverage. The information is based on average ton and cubic yard amounts. This decorative building stone has naturally occurring colors and shade variations. These are what give this stone the natural beauty and uniqueness that causes its appeal. Color tones change can sometimes occur with aging or maintenance practices of the location it is installed therefore exact matching of existing stone may not always occur. During processing or transportation dust will adhere to the rocks and change its appearance on arrival but we guarantee all stones to be true to the specific brand name, type and size ordered or a complete exchange including transportation costs will be made.
